ASA 104 – Bareboat Chartering

This is an intermediate coastal cruising course for a skipper and crew on our Sun Odyssey 349 sailing school boat or on your own personal sailboat in coastal waters.  Topics covered are living aboard, weather, seamanship, various anchoring techniques, cruise planning, coastal navigation, use of electronics, and piloting techniques.  The student will cruise for a minimum of 48 hours on the boat and the instructor will be onboard for the entirety of the time.  This course consists of 3 nights on the boat where a review of each day is discussed.  This course is available a limited amount of times throughout the sailing season.  Call 804-776-9211 for more information.
